Amman, April 14 (Petra) – The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Sunday that its Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had recovered JD93,000 stolen from a factory south of Amman.

The PSD’s spokesperson said a report was filed over the theft of JD102,000 from a safe at the facility.

An investigation team identified three suspects through evidence and intelligence gathering, and all were taken into custody, the spokesperson added.

The suspects confessed to breaking into the factory at night and stealing the money. Investigators recovered JD93,000, while the remaining funds are still being traced. The investigation is ongoing.
