20/ Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone Company 1st Quarter revenues up 780%
Amman, April 14 (Petra) – The Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone Company's revenues surged 780 percent in the first quarter of the year, compared to the same period last year, with 80 new investment contracts signed. In a meeting Monday, the company's board, chaired by Dana Al-Zoubi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply, discussed strategic issues related to the company's operations and future development ambitions. The board tackled ways to stimulate investment in the free zone and develop its infrastructure and technology to bolster the capacity to attract quality investments. It also endorsed the company's 2024 final budget and debated proposals to enhance administrative and institutional performance to cater for future business needs. The board also reviewed operational matters and proposed regulations on the number of vehicles and tankers crossing daily. //Petra//SS
