Gaza Strip, April 14 (Petra) -- Thirty-nine people were killed and one body was pulled from the rubble, and 118 were injured in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours in the ongoing Israeli war, the Gaza Health Ministry said Monday.

That took the death toll from the Israeli war that began on October 7, 2023, to 50,983 and the total number of injuries climbed to 116,274, it said in the latest report on casualties.

These included 1,613 fatalities and 4,233 injuries since Israeli forces resumed the bombing on March 18, it said, adding that many victims remained under the rubble of bombed out buildings and on roads, inaccessible by ambulances and rescue teams.
