Amman, April 13 (Petra) – Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat met on Sunday with a number of field crop farmers and cattle breeders in the northern governorate of Irbid to discuss key challenges facing the agricultural sector.

During the meeting, attended by MP Eyad Jibril, Hneifat reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to addressing the concerns raised by farmers and working to resolve them in a manner that supports the sector’s development.

He also called for the establishment of a dedicated cooperative association for cattle breeders in Irbid, stressing that the ministry would provide the necessary support to empower breeders and enhance the incomes of productive families in the area.

The minister reviewed the current state of field crops and pledged to follow up on farmers' feedback to ensure appropriate and effective services.
