Amman, April 13 (Petra) – Minister of Agriculture Eng. Khaled Hneifat met on Sunday with President of the Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruit and Vegetables Saadi Abu Hammad along with several members of the association to discuss key issues related to the regulation of fruit and vegetable import and export mechanisms.

Hneifat emphasized the importance of ensuring the availability of high-quality agricultural products at reasonable prices, while underscoring the need to strengthen export channels to foreign markets.

The two sides agreed to establish a specialized committee responsible for drafting an agricultural calendar, in partnership with all relevant stakeholders, including the Farmers’ Union and trade associations.
