Amman, April 13 (Petra) Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat met on Sunday with Fadi Ghanem, Chair of Lebanon’s National Committee for the Protection of Nature, and Assad Serhal, President of the International Society for the Protection of Nature (Homat Al-Hima), to explore cooperation on cultivating productive pine trees as part of Jordan’s National Afforestation Program.

The meeting reviewed ongoing environmental efforts in Lebanon, strategies for mitigating the impacts of climate change, and the committee’s key achievements.

The Lebanese delegation also invited Minister Hneifat to participate in an agricultural conference titled "Agriculture: The Pulse of the Earth."
