Amman, April 13 (Petra) – The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said on Sunday that the Israeli army’s deliberate destruction of Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital City reflects Israel’s persistent effort to dismantle all means of life in the Gaza Strip as part of a systematic strategy to eliminate the basic conditions necessary for survival.

In a statement, the rights watchdog warned that the latest escalation marks a dangerous stage in a deliberate campaign targeting "last refuge" locations where Palestinian civilians including the sick and wounded seek shelter and where medical personnel continue working under catastrophic conditions to save lives.

The Monitor dismissed Israel’s claims that the hospital was used for military purposes, describing it as a "scripted narrative" repeatedly invoked to justify systematic destruction and loss of civilian life after the fact.
