Amman, Nov. 21 (Petra) - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, met on Thursday with Commander of the Air Support Command of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Lieutenant General Takehiro Morita, and his accompanying delegation to discuss strengthening military ties.

During the meeting, the two sides explored avenues for cooperation between their armed forces, focusing on training programs and exchanging expertise.

They also reviewed regional developments and opportunities for enhanced collaboration in light of ongoing challenges in the Middle East.

Morita commended Jordan's pivotal role in fostering regional security and stability, highlighting the importance of continued partnership between the two nations.
