During the meeting, Haisa emphasized the significance of partnering with the FAO, highlighting its key role in supporting sustainable development projects. He explained that the primary focus is on improving water resource management, promoting sustainable agriculture, and bolstering food security through innovative strategies aimed at increasing agricultural productivity and infrastructure sustainability.

Haisa also underscored the importance of joint efforts to develop projects that improve water quality and enable its reuse, which would enhance the agricultural sector’s efficiency and strengthen the local economy.

He expressed the organization’s readiness to provide technical support and advice on improving agricultural water governance and strengthening the resilience of food systems in response to climate change.
