Amman, November 19 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met on Tuesday with Sigrid Kaag, the UN Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, to discuss efforts to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza and address the escalating humanitarian catastrophe.

Safadi stressed the urgent need for an effective international response to halt the Israeli aggression immediately and ensure the delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of Gaza, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

The discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation to intensify the delivery of humanitarian assistance through Jordan’s land aid corridor.
