Amman, November 19 (Petra) - Minister of Social Development, Wafa Bani Mustafa, discussed aspects of joint cooperation with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Rashid Al-Marri.

During the meeting on Tuesday, Bani Mustafa stressed the "deep-rooted, brotherly" bilateral relations, stressing the importance of cooperation in various joint social programs.

The minister also went over the the ministry's social services provided to the Kingdom's target groups, especially in the fields of family, persons with disabilities and refugees.

Furthermore, she touched on the importance of governing the mechanisms of charitable and humanitarian work in the Kingdom's charity sector.

Jordan's charitable societies are the ministry's "basic" partner in providing services and reaching social groups, in a bid to coordinate and organize their efforts, she pointed out.

For his part, the Kuwaiti envoy voiced appreciation for the ministry's efforts in various social fields, hoping to enhance prospects of the two countries' joint cooperation.
