Amman, Nov. 19 (Petra) - The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places issued a circular on Tuesday urging the public to perform Istisqaa prayer (prayer for rain) next Saturday.

In a statement, Minister, Dr. Mohammad Khalayleh, instructed the Kingdom's Awqaf directors, imams and preachers to perform the Istisqaa prayer in all regions countrywide following the afternoon prayer next Saturday, announcing the designated places for this purpose.
