Amman, November 15 (Petra) -- Jordan and Azerbaijan's ministers of energy discussed on Friday cooperation in gas and oil exploration in a move aimed at strengthening partnerships.

According to a statement, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh praised the "great" efforts made by Azerbaijan to make the COP29 conference a success, stressing the Azerbaijan for its "distinguished" role in supporting the global energy sector.

This came on the sidelines of the ministerial session of energy initiatives and pledges for the COP29 conference, which was held today, Friday, during which a group of important initiatives were launched: the Green Energy Pledge, the Green Energy Corridor Pledge, the Hydrogen Pledge and the Global Energy Storage Pledge.
