5/ March in Amman calls for end to Israeli aggression on Gaza, Lebanon

Amman, Nov. 15 (Petra)-- After Friday prayer, a march was started today from the downtown Amman Al-Hussein Mosque to express support for the Gaza Strip and Lebanon against the brutal Israeli onslaught they are experiencing and to denounce the continued violence against the Palestinian people.

Protestors demanding an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza and the lifting of the siege on the people of the Strip were chanted by the marchers. They called for a prohibition on the export of weapons to the Israeli occupation.

The attendees honored the Palestinian people's resilience in the face of genocide crimes and their sacrifices in protecting their identity and territory from Israel's murderous and destructive apparatus.

They conveyed their admiration for Jordan's brave and resolute position, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in aiding the Palestinian people and their rightful cause in a number of areas, notably the King's tireless efforts to provide Gaza with emergency help.

Given the challenging conditions brought on by the military escalation and continued assault, the participants praised the tireless efforts made by Jordanian medical staff in military field hospitals in Gaza and the West Bank to provide relief to the ill and injured.

In order to guarantee that aid is provided efficiently, they commended Jordanian medical professionals' efforts to coordinate relief operations with local and humanitarian organizations. These initiatives include educating people about illnesses and injuries brought on by Israeli aggression, offering families in the Gaza Strip medical advice, and preparing local cadres to handle emergency situations in spite of significant obstacles.
