Amman, Dec. 22 (Petra) -- The Jordanian-Syrian Free Zone is playing a pivotal role in enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Jordan and Syria, according to Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah.

The minister highlighted that the joint free zone facilitates the flow of trade to and from various countries, bolsters investment opportunities, and stimulates export-oriented sectors. These remarks came during an inspection tour conducted by Qudah on Sunday to review ongoing industrial investment projects within the free zone.

During the tour, Qudah visited several factories, where he observed production processes and export operations. He also received briefings from factory officials on their activities and discussed challenges and opportunities in boosting productivity.

The minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to fostering economic integration and supporting key projects that contribute to bilateral trade and regional connectivity.
