Amman, Dec. 18 (Petra) – The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) lit up the Christmas tree on Wednesday evening at the Amman's Sixth Circle area, symbolizing the bonds of brotherhood, tolerance, and love in the Kingdom.

Amman Mayor, Yousef Shawarbeh, extended heartfelt congratulations to Christian communities on this occasion, emphasizing that the celebration reflects the values of harmony among religions, coexistence, and fraternity among the people of one nation while reinforcing concepts of national unity.

Shawarbeh highlighted that commemorating this occasion renews the spirit of love, peace, and tolerance, praying for its return to the entire world, the nation, His Majesty King Abdullah, and HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, with goodness, health, and prosperity.
