Amman, Dec. 18 (Petra) – Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi said that these days mark the remembrance of the martyrs of Karak Castle, who embraced martyrdom in sacrifice for the homeland, its security, and stability, offering the greatest sacrifices in the face of treacherous terrorist groups.

"The Lower House of Parliament extends the highest and most profound respect to the families of the heroic martyrs, affirming that this nation, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, the resilience and valor of our army and security apparatus, and the awareness of our proud people, will remain unyielding against those with ill intentions and strong in the face of conspiracies and malicious attempts, which continuously shatter against Jordan’s steadfast foundation," Safadi added.

He concluded by saying, "The sacrifices of the martyrs of Karak will forever illuminate the nation’s glorious history. May mercy be upon their pure and eternal souls in the gardens of paradise, and disgrace and dishonor upon every treacherous aggressor."
