Amman, December 17 (Petra) -- The Crown Prince Foundation celebrated on Tuesday a decade of achievements for its "School Leadership Program" in a ceremony held at the Royal Cultural Palace.

The ceremony showcased the program's accomplishments over the past ten years, which include training over 160,000 male and female students across 1,400 schools in the Kingdom's governorates.

Program participants, referred to as "knights," shared their success stories in an interactive segment, demonstrating the program’s role in refining their personal skills and advancing their academic and professional journeys.

In a statement, the Foundation highlighted that the program has provided quality leadership training to youth, equipping them with essential skills while fostering belonging and active citizenship. Over 1,500 Ministry-trained educators have contributed to implementing the program in schools, enabling over 2,000 volunteer initiatives that have positively impacted more than 470,000 community members.

The Foundation underscored its commitment to the program’s strategic goals, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, expanding its reach to eighth-grade students in government schools. This aligns with the Crown Prince Foundation’s vision to create meaningful opportunities for young Jordanians, enabling them to shape a brighter future.

The Ministry of Education's Secretary-General for Educational Affairs Nawaf Ajarmeh lauded the program's outcomes, emphasizing its alignment with the ministry’s vision to build a generation of engaged and proactive youth. He noted that the leadership skills fostered through the program prepare students to plan for their futures with confidence, cultural awareness, and a sense of responsibility toward their communities.

He expressed the ministry's pride in its partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation, praising the program’s role in shaping effective future leaders.

The ceremony concluded with the Crown Prince Foundation honoring Ajarmeh and members of the program's councils in recognition of their contributions.

Launched in 2013 under the Crown Prince Foundation’s Leadership Track, the "School Leadership Program" aims to cultivate effective youth leaders through progressive stages starting with the "buds" phase, advancing to the "knights" phase, and culminating in the program councils, where members are elected annually.

The program enhances life skills, fosters democratic thinking, and promotes active citizenship, empowering students to drive positive change in their communities.
