Amman, Dec. 17 (Petra) - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Azmi Mahafzah on Tuesday discussed with Rwandan Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa, ways to activate the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Rwandan Ministry of Education.

The MoU aims to establish a framework for academic cooperation, focusing on exchanging expertise and best practices to enhance the two countries' higher education sector, which would improve efficiency and outcomes of their education systems.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the "strong" bilateral ties, reaffirming their commitment to advancing cooperation in scientific research field.

The officials also stressed the importance of continued collaboration of the two countries' educational institutions, which would promote mutual interests and open new prospects for scientific and cultural partnerships.
