Gaza, Dec. 16 (Petra) – Director of Field Hospitals at the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Marwan Al-Hams, warned of the worsening health conditions in hospitals due to a severe shortage of medical supplies and treatments, as well as the malfunctioning of numerous medical devices.

In a statement on Monday, Al-Hams explained that the health situation in Gaza is facing serious challenges due to the ongoing blockade and difficult economic conditions.

He confirmed that hospitals are suffering from an acute shortage of essential medicines and critical medical equipment needed to save patients' lives.

Al-Hams called on the international community to urgently intervene to provide the necessary support for Gaza's hospitals, stressing the importance of providing medical supplies and treatments to save lives and improve health conditions.
