  43/ ACC announces JD2.2 million agricultural loan plan Loan Plan in Ajloun

Ajloun, Dec. 16 (Petra) – From the start of this year to the end of November, the Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) in Ajloun Governorate offered 412 subsidized agricultural loans.

Director of ACC's Ajloun branch, Bashar Nawafleh, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that this year’s loan plan amounted to JD2.2 million, distributed across 412 projects and loans granted to farmers to empower them economically and advance the agricultural sector.

He explained that 100 specialized projects focused on empowering women, rural families, and rural financing aimed at reducing poverty and unemployment in the northern governorate. Other projects included loans for agricultural engineers and a project in collaboration with the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers.

Additionally, loans were provided to 312 farmers for land reclamation, development, and cultivation, as well as for livestock projects, totaling JD1.775 million.

Nawafleh emphasized that the ACC is committed to supporting and improving the economic conditions of farmers and encouraging them to establish successful agricultural projects. The corporation operates under an economic empowerment vision through the projects it funds, having signed numerous agreements with various entities and implemented several initiatives to achieve sustainable agricultural economic growth.
