Amman, Oct. 5 (Petra) -- A Jordanian delegation of 30 local companies from the ICT sector will partake in the 42nd edition of GITEX GLOBAL x 2022, the annual enterprise technology and global digital transformation event; taking place in Dubai next Monday.

Jordan’s participation, supported by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), aims at promoting national technical solutions, and seeking international partners to expand regionally and overseas, according to a statement on Wednesday by Haitham Rajbeh, JCC’s representative of the communications sector.

"The annual five-day event, which brings up tech companies and startups from more than 90 countries, will be the place to have a first-hand-look on the world’s latest technologies in light of the acceleration of digital transformation," he added.

This year’s edition, Rajbeh noted, will showcase ground-breaking applications in the metaverse, AI, Web 3.0, blockchain, 6G, cloud computing , fintech, and big data, adding that the Jordanian delegation will directly communicate with the world’s most influential enterprises advancing in business, economy, society and culture.
