13/ 15 Palestinians arrested in Israeli raids, detainees pursue hunger strike
Ramallah, Oct 4 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces early Saturday arrested fifteen Palestinians during raids across the West Bank and Arab East Jerusalem, as dozens of Palestinian administrative detainees continued an open-ended hunger strike. The Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement that troops stormed the cities of Ramallah, El Bireh, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem and neighborhoods in occupied East Jerusalem, and made the arrests. Meanwhile, over 30 so-called administrative detainees in Israeli jails refused meals for the tenth day in a row to protest their detention without charges or trial. Hassan Abd Rabbo, spokesman of the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, said the hunger strike was continuing with no signs of negotiation with the prison administration. //Petra//SS
