Amman, Oct 3 (Petra) -- A security force raided areas in the Central Badia region as part of a crackdown on water theft and illegal wells and attacks on the power grid, according to the Public Security Directorate's spokesman.

He said that during the campaign, police encountered a number of people who tried to disrupt the operation, using the necessary force, adding that the security campaign was still underway.
