Amman, Oct. 2 (Petra) -The total remittances of Jordanians working abroad stood at $2.251 billion during the January-August period of 2022, compared with $2, 238bln in the first eight months of 2021, data released by Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) showed on Sunday.

During last August, Jordanian expat remittances hit $270 million, compared with $274mln, in the same month 2021, the CBJ figures revealed.
